You Should Have a QuickBooks Expert Help You, Or Review Your Setup

All information and knowledge necessary to setup a manual accounting system is also necessary to setup and install a good, workable QuickBooks Installation on your desktop, server, or cloud (QuickBooks Online). QuickBooks setup can be even more complicated if you switch from a manual accounting system, or a kludged-together accounting system you’ve assembled using an odd assortment of invoicing programs, Excel Spreadsheet, Email, Word — or some other creative system that has finally become too difficult to manage — or to explain to your replacement as your business grows.

That said, I have a new service: QuickBooks Tune-Up that I priced at $295. That service, at that price-point assumes me spending 4 full hours reviewing and fixing multitudes of little issues that existing QuickBooks users don’t know about and will be blown-away by once I am finished. So that $295 is a rough estimate if you have a small business. If more complex, well, you know.

On the other hand, if you are a home-based small business: a 1099 contract consultant, a graphics designer, a web designer, a contractor, a pool cleaning service; a hair stylist, or other creative business owner with just a few people, I may be able to help you with your QuickBooks Setup for less. I mean, if you think about it, it is a good business decision on my part to be generous to you on my set-up fee, because then you’ll see the value of having a QuickBooks GUY, like me, on your speed dial –and— it is more likely you’ll invite me back to prepare your tax returns at the end of the year. win-win!

  • Printing a trial balance as of your starting date and comparing it to your trial balance from your old system.

  • Train client or client staff in use of software to meet their accounting, management and tax needs.

Ongoing Services:

  • Follow up training to ensure my client is “on the right track”.
  • Monthly, quarterly or annual review of my client’s QuickBooks data to assist in tax preparation and useful reports.
